In our final activity for term one (don’t worry – we’re sad too – but we’ll be back in term two!!), Tom gets students to estimate what 1 metre is and then construct something that is precisely 1 metre. In this special ‘teacher version’ Tom gives us some ways to teach units of measurement and develop students’ understanding of estimation and precision in an engaging and creative way!
