Rich Learning: Sparking students interest in maths through rich tasks and productive struggle

⬅ All

Our teachers and students sit down to explain the impact that Rich Learning has had in their classrooms.

Rich tasks act to engage students and spark their interest in maths whilst keeping them in productive struggle as this is where they are really learning. At the end of each rich task, we get the students to reflect and take ownership of what they have learnt. Rich tasks encourage group interactions and a different way of thinking and applying more concrete aspects of mathematics.
