“Students were coming to us with huge, huge gaps in their learning. I had teachers coming to me ripping their hair out, saying I can’t physically differentiate for the different levels in my classroom.” – Bridget Mallory, Acting HOD Junior Mathematics.
Maths Pathway has been working closely with Park Ridge State High School to help them create an environment where their students feel empowered to learn and are given the opportunities they need to fill the gaps that exist in their learning.
“Once you get to that point where students are in the routine, and they understand the expectations and they know how to get help, then you can facilitate the learning in a really meaningful way and make sure that every student is experiencing that success.” – Bridget Mallory.
Park Ridge State High School’s vision: “Excellence in all we do.”
“What stood out to me about Maths Pathway was that it was a full teaching and learning model. It wasn’t just a bolt-on resource that we could hand to teachers” – Bridget Mallory, Acting HOD of Junior Mathematics.
