Visit us at the Maths Pathway exhibit at stand no 625 to learn about our data-driven Learning & Teaching Model, developed by teachers, which is more than doubling the average growth rate of Australian students. While there, pick up your free maths classroom activity and go in the draw for the Maths 4 Love 'Prime Climb' game or double Gold Class cinema tickets.

Come and hear Maths Pathway Co-founder Richard Wilson present the following:

Title: 'Please stop trying to "reform" my (maths) classroom'
Presentation overview: Okay, so we know most adults are terrified of numbers. And most school students above the age of eight are bored by, or scared of, "maths". So we know something needs to change. But most efforts at "reform" in education are doomed to fail.
In thirty rapid-fire minutes, we'll explore why this is so, and how we might build an education system that adapts and improves over time; a system of learning that systematically learns.
Spoiler alert: it's all about trying to build an adaptive network of open-minded teachers who can improve maths education, in all its beautiful, ego-free, real-world, non-academic, messy glory.
